Applying for a place at Greenwood Primary School:
All of the information you need is available on Ealing website. The website includes a copy of the admission process and how to apply for a school in Ealing.
Ealing's admissions staff are available to advise parents on making informed preferences for their children. The staff deal with all applications for reception year places to Ealing state maintained schools and academies, and will be happy to help you.
If you require advice and information it is strongly recommended that you seek this early in the process rather than leaving your enquiry until later. You may telephone to speak to a member of staff on (020) 8825 5511 between 9am and 12pm.
Reception Admissions
Start primary school in September 2024
Children born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020 are due to start the first year of primary school (reception class) in September 2024.
You must apply directly to the council that you are living in at the time of application, regardless of the borough which the school is in. The deadline for applying for primary school is 15 January 2024. Applications received after this date are late and will not be considered until after national offer day.
The national offer day for on time applicants is 16 April 2024. If you apply online you will receive an email in the evening on 16 April confirming the school that has been offered.

Applications are not accepted or processed at the school.
Schools are responsible for Nursery admissions.
In our Nursery, we offer 50 part-time places (15 hours per week).

If your child was born between 1st September 2020 and 31st August 2021 then they are due to start Nursery in September 2024.
We accept children into Nursery the term after their 3rd birthday and as long as we have vacancies. Children must be toilet trained.
We welcome visits to our school. Please contact the school office to arrange a visit.
In the event of our Nursery being oversubscribed your child will remain on our waiting list until a place becomes available.

In Year Admissions (Rec - Year 6)
All in-year admissions are processed by the Local Authority. Please see the link to Ealing Admissions.
High School Admissions (Ealing Council)
Children currently in Year 6 are due to transfer from primary to high school (year 7) in September 2024.
Applications must be made directly to the council that you are living in at the time of application, regardless of the borough which the school is in. The deadline for applying for high school is 31 October 2023. Applications received after this date are late and will not be considered until after national offer day.
The national offer day for on time applicants is 1 March 2024. If you apply online you will receive an email in the evening on 1 March confirming the school that has been offered.
