Pupil Leadership

At Greenwood Primary School, we recognise that our children are the leaders of tomorrow and we are keen to provide a range of opportunities for children to develop their leadership skills. Children's voice is valued and promoted- with our children have many platforms available to express their views.

 

By offering leadership opportunities, we aim to encourage a sense of responsibility, confidence and initiative within our pupils- enabling them to develop essential skills that can be applied throughout their lives beyond Greenwood.

 

This year, we have introduced the following pupil leadership roles:

 

  • Greenwood Government Representative
  • Assembly Leader
  • Digital Leader
  • Eco Leader
  • Friendship Leader
  • Learning Leader
  • Library Leader
  • Office Leader
  • Sports Leader

 

Greenwood Government members are elected through a democratic process within their classes. The other roles involve filling in an application form, being shortlisted and interviewed before being successfully appointed.
