• Make it with Dad & Grandads Day

  It was lovely to see so many Dads, Grandads and other family members at our 'Make it with Dad' event on 17th June 2019. Thank you for being so involved in the various activities around school from making boats, 3D models and other fun designing tasks. The children loved sharing their learning with you!

  What an amazing International Day! A massive thank you to our PTA for organising and running such as successful event that celebrated Greenwood's diversity and everything that makes our school so special. 

   

  It was lovely to see so many children (and parents) dressed up in traditional clothing and to taste so many different foods! Thank you to all our parents who took the time to prepare and cook food that was donated to this event.

• Year 3 Spring performance

  A big well done to Year 3 who put on an amazing Spring Assembly to a packed hall of family and friends. Thank you to everyone who came into school and supported the children. Well done to all the children and teachers for their hard work!

• Creative Week - Strange Events at Greenwood!

  On Monday 4th March - the staff and children came into school and saw what looked to be a strange object that appeared to have crashed on the school field. Strange yellow slime was found around the school!

  

• Children In Need

• Year 5/6 Hockey Competion - 3rd Place Winners

  Well done to Greenwood Year 5/6 Hockey team who came 3^rd in an inter schools completion.

   

  24 Children in Year 5 and 6 visited Alec Reed Academy today to take part in a inter schools Hockley completion. All the teams played really well and were a credit to Greenwood.

   

  A very special well done to team B who came third out of all the schools playing. They have each won a bronze medal which we will celebrate in a school assembly.

• Year 1 Trip to Kidzania

  Year 1 had a fantastic trip to Kidzania on 14th November 2018 where they chose from a number of real-life activities and tested their skillls in a variety of professions.
